Wait a second, has it really been a year?
It seemed like we just blinked and fast forward to today, we have been officially operating for an entire year!
And celebrating an anniversary is certainly a milestone for us. But we want to highlight this achievement by sharpening our focus on what matters to us — you, our partners!
So, here's to our partners from the public, private, and academic sectors who are the key players in our efforts when it comes to ecosystem building.
We romped around Iloilo to visit our partners in fields of Tech and Science!
Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U) is where Kwadra-TBI (Technology Business Incubator) is located, a Department of Science and Technology (DOST)-funded incubator dedicated to promoting startups.
Panublix is a proud and elated to be an incubatee of Kwadra-TBI!
The Team met with ISATU Vice President for Research & Extension, Dr. Carmelo V. Ambut whose office oversees the ISATU Kwadra Technology Business Incubator and the Regional Yarn Production and Innovation Center (RYPIC).
We also dropped by the Iloilo City Government - Local Economic Development & Investment Promotions Office (LEDIP) which is involved in the INNOVATE ILOILO public-private movement.
Ms. Claire Juanico, Panublix Head of R&D, toured us around her workplace at the Philippine Genome Center Visayas located in the UP Visayas Regional Research Center.
Why do we need scientists in our line of work, you may wonder?
Well, because in order to break into the sustainable fashion market, we must achieve good quality standards and certifications.
To do that we need to get baseline data on the quality of our materials and set science-based targets.
