Panublix Celebrates Its First Anniversary

Panublix, a Filipino startup that connects tropical textile producers with designers, celebrates its first anniversary today.

Officially launched on April 7, 2021, Panublix has lost no time in shifting the fashion and design industries to a more sustainable direction.

Over the past year, it has raised more than Php 1,000,000 in revenue, all while onboarding 23 artisan enterprises and creating and sustaining 284 jobs. All of this was done through its digital supply chain platform, supported by the Panublix Weaving Enterprise Digital Enabler (PWEDE) program, which equips artisans to transition to global e-commerce operations.

Panublix has also secured a partnership with the Regional Yarn Production and Innovation Center (RYPIC) in Iloilo, which is overseen by the DOST-Philippine Textile Research Institute. This partnership has given Panublix exclusive access to Philippine tropical yarns and textiles, enabling it to sell 162 kilograms of sustainable yarns to over 60 brands, customers, and institutions in the Philippines and abroad.

And, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Panublix has produced over Php 200,000 worth of PPE suits. This has provided its garment makers with income, all the while providing healthcare workers with the protection they need.

As Panublix forges ahead, we would like to thank all of our loyal customers and partners for your continued support. Together, we can build a more sustainable future.
