The Regional Yarn Production and Innovation Center (RYPIC) Turnover Ceremony was not only a defining moment for RYPIC but also a peak moment for us in Panublix.
Panublix joins the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) as it turns over RYPIC to Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U) in Miag-ao, Iloilo.
The historic event was graced by DOST Secretary Fortunato dela Peña, and DOST-PTRI Director Celia Elumba with representatives from RYPIC Iloilo and RYPIC Isabela partners.
RYPIC is the first microscale yarn spinning facility that aims to produce yarns from blends of natural textile fibers. Its technology enables us to work with weavers, designers, and crafters and provide them with locally-processed yarns.
As the marketing partner of RYPIC, our hearts are filled with gratitude to be part of this important milestone!
