WIPO Magazine: Panublix talks about the importance of IP for weaving communities

We are honored to share our story with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), an international agency of the United Nations for IP services, policy, information and cooperation. The WIPO Magazine explores how IP enables innovation and creativity and supports social, cultural and economic development and business growth around the world.

Panublix CEO Noreen Bautista explains the importance of Intellectual Property (IP) in our work with weaving communities:
"Our style of weaving is an Indigenous art that is unique to the Philippines. The weavers are also creative designers whose works, tools of trade and processes must be recognized and protected as intellectual properties to promote their businesses and brands."
