ABACA
The fiber from abaca or manila hemp comes from the leaf stalks around its trunk.
It is native to the Philippines which is also the largest producer of abaca worldwide.
The abaca we use is sourced from Negros Island in Western Visayas.

STRONGEST NATURAL FIBER
Abaca is considered the strongest among natural fibers. Going beyond industrial uses, its high tensile strength adds durability to fabrics. Abaca can also be blended with other fibers. Our cotton-abaca blend is made up of 70% cotton and 30% abaca fiber.VERSATILE AND DURABLE
Going beyond its industrial uses, abaca is widely used by weaving communities in the Philippines to make clothing, footwear, bags and accessories.SHOP NOW
